NURSERY SCHEDULE TODAY

Today we have started a new nursery program.  A special thanks to all the ladies who are able to help in this area.   If you are over 16 years of age, you need to phone Judy in the office (368-2218) to get a letter for a police check as required by our insurance company.  There are now 3 separate nurseries.  Babies (up 18 mths),  and toddlers (18 mths. – 2 years). These two nurseries are upstairs.  Then there is a nursery downstairs for 3 and 4 year olds.  We are still in need of 3 or 4 more people.  See Jenn Agnew or Selena Ellis. if you can help.
This week Team 5 is on duty and next week Team 1.

SMILE…YOU’RE ON CAMERA!

We areliving in a day when even our churches are not safe with thefts taking place –even during regular day time hours. It has been necessary to  have camerasinstalled in strategic locations throughout our church building. For all memberswho have keys – we would urge you to take this responsibility seriously.  If youare the last one in the building, please lock the doors. DO NOT LOAN YOUR KEY TOANYONE. Everyone with a key needs to know what to do if the alarm goes off. With a key comes the responsibilities attached to it. If you notice anythingunusual taking place in our building, then find someone and check it out.

SECURITY ALERT

Recently we had a robbery in our church and an attempt to break into an office cabinet–WHILE CHURCH SERVICE WAS IN PROGRESS. Because of this we need to heighten security.  The main church office should be locked at all times when not in use on  Sundays and when regular office hours are not in affect.  We would ask your cooperation in this.  If you unlock the office door – make sure it is locked immediately after use. As a church attendee we would ask you to contact an usher if you see anything or anyone of a suspicious nature.

.

ARE YOU WORKING AS A VOLUNTEER WITH CHILDREN in the Nursery, in Children’s Church, Sunday School, Kidz Club, Youth Group or any other ministry?   If so it is IMPERATIVE THAT YOU GET A POLICE CHECK DONE as required by our insurance company.   You need to get a letter from Judy indicating that you are a volunteer working with children (under the age of 18) to take to your local Police Station or to the RCMP if you reside outside the City of Charlottetown. Just phone Judy at the church office (368-2218) and she can put a letter in your mail box to take to the police station
