Titus_2_Saints.gifSENIORS – Titus 2 Saints

The Seniors of Grace Baptist Church are an active and vibrant group of men and women ages 60 and up.
The Titus 2 Saints is a name taken from the second chapter of Titus (2:1-10) and used to describe a manner of life for older men and older women who are interested in helping people in their Christian walk. According to Titus 2 they are to teach what is good, be a model of good works, and in their teaching show integrity, dignity and sound speech.

It is a wonderful opportunity to connect with people your own age and reach out to others. Please join us as we meet together for fellowship and encourage one another to mentor younger people in their Christian walk with the Lord. We will have some get togethers over the spring and summer, then in the fall we will meet twice a month for regular fellowship during the week to equip ourselves to help others and sing, worship, and fellowship with each other. Our dear Titus 2 Saints are a very important andvalued part of our church family.

Titus 2 Saints

The grace of God teaches us to be models of good works… (Titus 2). We desire to grow, learn and teach others by our example

Who qualifies: God has qualified us “In Christ Jesus” (Colossians 1: 12-14)

Titus 2 Saints are men and women 60 years and older who strive to be godly examples of maturity in their walk with the Lord.

Our purpose: To demonstrate the character of God in our relationships (Galatians 5: 22-23)

Our deeds: We encourage other saints in the body of Jesus Christ at GBC and reach out to all whom God has called or may call to salvation through friendship, prayer, teaching, counselling via: phone contacts, visitation, letter writing, and informal gatherings such as: small groups, praise and worship times and celebrating special occasions.
